As much as I love spending time with my own cats, I’m honestly running out of ways to keep them entertained and prevent them from knocking down an item or two in my home, out of sheer boredom. If you’re pretty much in the same precarious situation as me, then this collection of pet products promises to come to your rescue! From a Dyson pet grooming kit to an action camera for pets – these product designs will take good care of your pet, and keep them active and content! You can take a little breather, while they wrestle around with these newfound fun products! These are the pet items you need in your home.

1 . Sharing Joy

Rather aptly titled ‘Sharing Joy’ , this award-winning chair comes with a side table for humans to place their books and cups of tea/coffee on, and a crawl space for cats to casually lounge in (complete with a suspended toy for them to play with).

Why is it noteworthy?

What I personally love about Sharing Joy is that it subscribes to a broader vision of what lounging is and who can ‘lounge’. Designed for humans and cats to cozy up in, the chair comes with a hollow, oblong backrest that’s perfectly sized for an adult cat (or a tiny dog) to crawl into plus laze around in. Moreover, the idea of having the human in addition to pet lounging together against each other sounds like absolute perfection. 10/10 will give you the happiness hormones.

What we like

  • Sports a minimalist aesthetic that fits in most contemporary homes
  • Comes with a soft design language that’s inviting in order to humans and cats alike

What we should dislike

  • No complaints!

2 . Doze

Doze   is a side table where you can put some of your stuff while working, like a notebook or a cup of coffee or a glass of wine to energize you or just some pieces of decoration. The space for your stuff is actually a removable tray that you can attach or remove.

Why is it noteworthy?

The important part of this furniture though is the semi-enclosed space that is made for your pet dog. Whether they just want to rest in it or play on their own while keeping a close eye on you while you work, the dog bed seems to be pretty comfortable. It has a customizable bed cover that is made from hypoallergenic memory foam so it is both comfy and also good for their joints and bones. Memory foam is known to distribute the user’s weight and remember their shape.

What we like

  • The side table that is also a dog bed benefits both the pet and the owner
  • Help you in your productivity and does not make you want to doze off when you see your dog comfortably napping in their bed

What we dislike

  • No complaints!

3. The Dyson Pet Grooming Kit

If you’re a pet parent, and you’re looking for a handy product to break down and ease up your pet’s cleaning process – then the Dyson Pet Grooming Kit is the product for you.

Why is it noteworthy?

The grooming kit is specifically tailored for dogs and cats. Both species tend to shed a lot – depending on the season and the breed. Instead of constantly vacuuming your home, and getting rid of all the shed fur, the grooming package includes nifty accessories, which let you tackle the problem at its root (quite literally).

What we like

  • Makes your pet’s after-bath ritual less noisy and jarring, hence eliminating some of the stress they often experience during these sessions
  • The kit also includes an extension hose, which provides a person with more than 3 feet associated with flexibility

What we dislike

  • You cannot use the accessories without a Dyson vacuum cleaner

4. The KIVI

The KIVI is a GoPro-inspired camera that is designed to strap directly onto a pet collar, giving you the most glorious PoV of all time. Just plug it on your canine while playing fetch or at the beach, or onto your cat while you’re at work, and you can live the good life right from their perspective.

Why is it noteworthy?

Armed with a single lens sitting in a cube-shaped form (with a built-in flashlight no less), KIVI sits on your pet’s collar, recording everything they do and see. There aren’t any details on the action camera (given that it’s a form exercise and not a professional concept), but I’d imagine that without a display (like the one on the GoPro), the KIVI has fairly long battery life.

What we such as

  • Designed to be collar-compatible

What we dislike

  • It’s still a concept!

5. Wicked Egg

Designed to hold dry treats for both dogs and cats, Wicked Egg is a perfect little contraption to keep your furry friend amused. It whistles, dances, lights up, and just when your furbaby starts playing with it, Wicked Egg rewards them with a treat for just being the ‘goodest’ boy or girl!

Why is it significant?

Wicked Egg was designed to be simultaneously a toy as well as a reward system. Made to be deployed when the pet parent is busy or not at home, the egg holds treats in its upper cavity and even stands vertically thanks to its lower center of gravity. Wicked Egg helps with obedience training by rewarding your pet’s action with treats.

What we like

  • The toy stimulates your pets not just physically but also mentally
  • Multiple Interaction Modes (starter, advanced & expert) challenge your curious dog to figure out how to get treats out

Whatever we dislike

  • No complaints!

6. The Hank Feed Bowl

The “Hank” feed bowl is one such product concept that is designed in a maze pattern to prevent them from gobbling all of the food up in one go without lifting their own head, which can sometimes lead to choking and clogging of their digestive tract.

Why is it noteworthy?

The particular bowl itself is made from silicone and can be easily removed with regard to cleaning, which you should do often of course. It’s placed inside a container that has a cover to keep dirt and other unhygienic things away from their food. The designer also says that the “working principle of the cover will automatically turn on” when it detects that your dog is nearby. I’m assuming this means that the cover will be automatically lifted when it knows your dog is going to start eating.

What we like

  • Comes with a silicone strap so you can bring it with you when you’re going out to be able to walk the dog
  • Looks like a cute little plaything

That which we dislike

  • No complaints!

7. Igloo

“Igloo”   might be a weird name for a table, but it is a very accurate description of the odd structure beneath the tabletop. Although it looks almost like an odd UFO, the flattened sphere is designed to be a cozy bed for your feline.

What makes it noteworthy?

Rather than a typical box, a round shape was chosen because it conformed better to how cats often curl up when sleeping. The shape is also almost completely closed off save for the oval opening in front, providing the warmth cats crave in boxes.

Everything we like

  • It provides both functionality together with decor to living spaces shared with animals

What we dislike

  • No issues!

8. KiTiDOT

Simply put,   KiTiDOT   is a cat collar with a laser pointer built into the front. Sort of like suspending a carrot in front of a horse to get it to move forward, the KiTiDOT projects a laser dot right in front of your cat, bamboozling it for potentially hours at an end.

Why is it noteworthy?

Since the laser light will be mounted to your cat, the dot moves every time your own cat does. In other words, your current cat effectively entertains itself so you don’t have to step away from your work to keep your dog occupied. It also means you may have to watch out for any breakable objects around your house because there’s no saying how points could turn out!

What we like

  • KiTiDOT keeps the cats active and gets all the zoomies out of them so they don’t stomp all over your keyboard while you are working

What we dislike

  • No complaints!

9. Guacal

Well-designed, smart, and functional product designs can make your pet’s life easier, more comfortable, and enjoyable! And if they manage to provide some utility to your living space and you, then it’s quite literally the best of each worlds. One such example of an innovative design that caters to the needs of both pets and additionally humans is –  Guacal .

Why is it noteworthy?

Designed by Andrés Cáceres, Guacal is a cute pet carrier that seems to double up as a stool for humans! Mimicking a mini stool, Guacal takes on a squarish form with rounded edges. The lower section seems to function as the family pet carrier with transparent panels supporting the entire structure,   allowing you to keep an eye on your pet at all times. The upper section features a wooden base, which seems to serve as the seating area for you personally!

What we just like

  • Multifunctional design
  • Meets the needs of pets not to mention humans alike

What we dislike

  • It’s still a concept!

10. The Cottage Dog House

Typically the Cottage dog house   is a minimalist  dog house  made from metallic elements and also eco-friendly felt coverings.

Why is it noteworthy?

Your dog deserves a corner of the home to call its own. Whether that means creating your own pillow fort around your own personal dog’s bed or buying the latest, greatest dog house that only fits in the backyard, it’s up to you. Typically, dogs are not too fussy and they’ll find comfort wherever there is a hint of it–on your personal lap or under the couch. The Cottage dog house from LSY and Jaeyeon Choi is a new kind of  minimalist  dog house that taps into comfort with a felt covering and sturdy build.

What we like

  • The internal cushion is meant to provide ultimate comfort for your canine friend
  • The removable roof allows for open-air or semi-enclosed sleeping

What we dislike

  • The aesthetics are a bit too simple
