Springfield cannabis company moving HQ with KC building purchase – Springfield Business Journal


Springfield cannabis business Show-Me Organics Inc. is preparing to relocate as part of a growing facility building buy.
Show-Me Organics on Oct. 3 penned a deal to buy an 80, 000-square-foot cannabis growing and manufacturing facility in Kansas City from Holistic Industries for undisclosed terms, according to a news release. The deal is pending approval by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
“Show-Me Organics will relocate our corporate headquarters to our new facility in Kansas City, ” CEO Boston Dickerson told Springfield Business Diary via email.
Capitol Heights, Maryland-based Holistic Industries ‘ Kansas City facility produces more than 1, 000 pounds of marijuana flower per month for dispensaries across Missouri, according to the release.
“We believe we are acquiring the best-designed grow facility in the state, and we tip our caps to Holistic Industries perfecting the design and process through buildouts in nine other states, ” Dickerson said in the release.
In the email, Dickerson said its laboratory and production facility would remain in Springfield. Show-Me Organics is a majority family-owned company that sells Vivid brand products made at Happy Days, its Springfield infused-product manufacturing lab. The company also owns two dispensaries, Blue Sage Cannabis Co., which operate in Carthage plus Lebanon, according to past reporting .
At the Springfield service, Show-Me Organics produces cannabis-infused products, including coffee pods in partnership with The Coffee Ethic LLC, according to past reporting .
