Urban Bird Hot Chicken will open a 2, 169-square-foot restaurant in January in The Market in City Place at 2162 Spring Stuebner Road in Spring. The locally-based chain has grown to four locations since opening in Katy in 2020 and plans to expand to 20 locations. Eddie Lang of Quenby Commercial represented the tenant. Rip Reynolds of Regency Centers displayed the landlord. The 170, 000-square-foot, Kroger-anchored lifestyle center was developed by a joint venture of Regency Centers and CDC Houston, the master developer of City Place.
Main Bird Hot Chicken , a restaurant that started in 2020 as a food truck serving Nashville-style hot chicken, leased 5, 580 square feet at 806 Katy Fort Bend Road for its fourth brick and mortar location. This space will consist of a food hall concept with offerings from Dripped Birria plus BunSlut. Tooba Patoli, Abdul Sabha and Rafael Melara represented the landlord.
