New dog grooming business in Helston Coco and Bee’s Pet Styling – Falmouth Packet
A pet groomer has followed in her father’s footsteps by opening her own business in Helston.
Beth Willey has opened Coco & Bee’s Pet Styling within Horse and Jockey Lane, welcoming her first customers on Tuesday.
Inspiration for the name comes from Beth’s French bulldog, who she adopted four months ago, and her own nickname.
She is now offering grooming services for dogs of all sizes, including trims, shampoos and blow dries.
Beth, who has five years’ experience in the industry, said: “It’s lovely coming to work every day and getting to work with these animals. It just makes every day enjoyable.
“So I just took the plunge and decided to get my own businesses. “
With the help of her family she has transformed a former tanning salon into a salon for canine clients.
“I’ve had dogs all my life with my family, and they’ve helped me through so many hard times – I just think I get along with dogs more than people! ” she joked.

“I feel at home with them and at ease with them; they relax me. Five years ago I required the opportunity to take a job offer with a national corporate branch and I’m so thankful I did as I’ve learnt the skills and it’s changed my life, because it’s something I’ve always wanted to do.
“It’s an amazing job, I’m very lucky. “
Beth’s late father had a spot and polishing business at Water-ma-Trout and she added: “I want to follow in his footsteps and get well known in the town, do right by everybody and gain a good reputation like my dad. inch
The pet salon will be open Tuesdays to Fridays 8. 30am to 5pm and Saturdays 8am to 3pm.
