1. The Town of Bedford offers many interesting volunteer opportunities! Volunteers play an essential role in our Bedford town government, and serve on everything from the Planning Board and Conservation Commission, to preserving Bedford’s history as a member of the Historic District Commission. 2. In a highly competitive market, many home buyers are willing to take the financial and safety risk of waiving the home inspection, and purchasing a home “as is”. After a year-long search in New England, Deborah Jackson finally bought a townhouse in Hooksett after offering “almost $100,000 above the asking price” and waiving the home inspection.
